Poll Question: WE have our EAD approved and I 485 pending.Received a letter saying--UR case is on hold becoz u appear to b inadmissible under the current law.Rather than denying ur application based on inadmissibility,we r placing ur case on hold while the Dept of Homeland sec considers additional xcercise of the Secretary of Homeland Sec's discretionary xemption authority.Such an zcercise of the xemption authority might allow us to approve ur case."---PLS ADVICE Posts:

Were you trying to text message your question into the conference? How about respecting the readers and actually writing the words out? Posts:

You are not charged by the letter here. Please use full English sentences and not this SMS gibberish. Posts:

Well, this is very loaded status. What it says that they think the applicant is inadmissible, but they are trying to come up with a reason to admit this person. It is my opinion that the application may be in a very hot water. You need to google "grounds for inadmissibility" and read the list to see which one you may have issues with. After that, you should probably repost with your whole history about whatever it is you think caused inadmissibility.
Here are the exmaples of inadmissibility grounds. As you can see, it is rather long and colorful list. Health related grounds; Criminal grounds; Security grounds; Public charge grounds; Labor certifications; Undocumented entry and immigration status violations; Documentation requirements; Previous removal or unlawful presence; and Miscellaneous Posts:
