Here are my queries:

I am currently working in H1B. I have applied for my Green Card in EB3 category and my labor and I-140 is approved. Priority Date - Sept'2007

1. I want to apply my labor and I-140 in EB2 category and want to keep the same priority date as my EB3. I have a bachelor degree and more than 7 years of experience and guess I am qualified for EB2. My employer has a position open for category EB2. My questions are:
a) Is it possible to do that?
b) If the EB2 filing is being denied, can I pursue my GC processing in EB3 category without any issue?

2. My wife is in F1 status as she is pursuing her school. Can she file I-485 along with me once the date is current, being in F1 status? Is there any issue with that?

Anyone having similar situation. Please let me know.

Any reply will be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jay
