L1 Extension-Wrong Service Center | test75 Member |

My L1 extension was filed on oct 15th. My current I-94 expired Oct 27th. Today I came to know that USCIS returned my petition back to my company as it was filed at a wrong service center.
Company Attorney says they re-filed the case at the correct Service Center earlier this week and filed it as "nunc pro tunc" which means the case was filed after the date my visa expired but by no fault of mine. They say its standard and should have no negative implications....
Any help would be appreciated...not sure what this means to my status? Posts:

  Anyone can help with this?
In short,my L1 extension request was originally filed on 10/15 but to a wrong service center. It was returned by USCIS and reached my company on 11/02.They refiled on 11/04 to the correct service center with an explanation as a "nunc pro tunc" request to excuse the late filing as it was no fault of mine.At this point the petition reached USCIS 7-8 days after my I-94 expiry.
How bad is this situation? Please help.... Posts:
