My i - 140 is approved(in 2006) and i changed job 180 days after filing I -485.
this all happened in good terms with employer(with whom i filed originally)

i didn't file AC-21 yet.

i recently got interview call(for 1st week of december), now my question/dilemma here is..

should i file AC-21 or do i need to file AC-21(i am worried if it will bring any complication)?

or just take current employment verification letter with me.

i thought GC is for future job offer and i still have good terms with original firm.

i am not sure what should i say if they ask why did you change job?

my job is same, current salary is bit high from filing time.

any suggestion friends.

thanks
-Abi

If you want to work for your current employer, you should bring your new job letter, and thus claim AC21 portability. If you want to wrok for the original employer, you should bring a job offer letter from them. Up to you. It's not their business why you decided to change jobs, as long as you planned to work for original employer indefinitely when you filed I-485.

If you are an EB immigrant, then yes, you should bring an employment letter to the interview. I would not mail one since your file is with the officer you will be talking with.
