i applied GC under eb3 from US office ,and my i140 was approved, got my H1b 7th year extension for 3 yrs. now i am deputed to indian branch where here i was announced promotion as chief archietech from technical archietech.
can i apply for eb1?
will this promotion affect this present lc and i140 approved status?

There are different categories of EB1 and different requirements for each. If you feel that you may qualify for EB1, you may want to consult a competent immigration attorney in regard to your situation and to assess your qualifications for EB1. Just because you have a promotion to a higher position does not automatically mean you qualify for EB1. Additionally, if you do qualify for EB1, you may need to either refile your LC or I-140 or both. Again, due to the limitations and lack of specific information of your case, I would suggest that you consult a competent immigration attorney about your case.
