What happens if H1B is active and i am on sabbatical on the same line of business. Employer is amicable to process my GC.
I already applied for AOS in July 2007 Rush.
I have an address continuously monitored(correspondence).
I can get a PO as a proof of work after i enter the country.
Will it affect my entry into the country in anyway?
What would happen to my GC process?
GC Priority is Jan 2005 and mine is Feb 2006.
Can anyone suggest the course of action to make sure everything is smooth?
My H1B ends in OCT 2010. what is the best time to enter the country(latest) to avoid any visa issues considering the market situation?

Are you getting an AP or do you have one and when does that expire? I assume you want to work abroad for less than 2 years.

In the interests of abundant caution get an AP and you can do what you propose with little risk.
