My case is that I have filed under my wife's EB3 app as dependent.

I have an EB2 approved with 2006 PD. The EB2 app has a better chance at getting current than the EB3 app that we have currently in file.

Does anyone have any insight into how this can be achieved?

* Should I file new 485 apps with my EB2 as primary and wife as secondary and withdraw the current apps?

We both are using EAD from the currently filed apps.

If you file I485 for you & your wife using your EB2 I140 then the current EAD, I485 & AP based on
your wife's EB3 I140 will all get nullified. This is because, you can have only one I485 pending at any time.

Good luck
