Hi,

My VISA is L2 and I like to apply for EAD. I need to go to India after applying EAD. I'll be traveling to India the next day I apply for EAD. I'll be coming back only after EAD is approved and sent to me (US address). I am not sure whether my physical presence is required for the EAD approval?. Please advice.its very urgent

Note: My husband (L1) will be travelling with me to India but he will be back in a month.

You can not go on vacation till you get the EAD.
as your physical presence is required to give the bio-metrics(Finger Printins) and RFE(request for evidance).

and also your I-94 number changes when you come back to country.

with all above linked you can not go vacation.

This is my second time EAD. I have already got EAD and expired 6 months back.i did not give any biometrics at that time..PPl says.. i94 number changes does nt affect EAD approval...is it true?.....I have got many different answers.....
