My visa and I-94 expired(30 Sep 2009), passport also expired(30 Sep. 2009) but have a new one now. My i797 is valid until May 2010.
I came to US on company A and transfered to Company B, i got I797 with I94 and the validity is till 20 May 2010.
I went to India with my old visa and came back with the same, At the POE i showed the officer my new i797 but they gave me i94 until my passport validity 30 Sep.2009. Today, after my HR called, I found out that I am out of status.
