Hi ,

I have applied for my I-485 during August 2007, but i have lost my Receipt Notice(Photocopy is available)

Is it possible to get a Duplicate Receipt Notice from USCIS ??

Please suggest me any other alternative.

Is there a particular reason why one would need the original I-797 Receipt Notice for the I-485? In most cases, the photocopy of the I-485 Receipt Notice is sufficient.

Since November 2007, I-485 applicants entering on Advance Parole are no longer required to show the I-485 Receipt Notice.

Unfortunately, there is no way to get a duplicate. However, in 99.9% of cases you only need copies.

How to request a copy of receipt again?

I have my receipts, however there is a typo in my A# printed out?

How do I request another copy of receipts with the correct A# printed out?

Please advice.
