Hi my mom is coming to US this November. But she has her return ticket at the end of july which is more than the 6 months period. Will there be any problem for her at the port of entry.

Usually not. Of course you will have to pay a fee to change the ticket dates for the return.

My mother was advised by the CBP official to have the return ticket a week to 10 days in advance next time around. (She had a return ticket two days short of 6 months)
