  Hello Everyone!
I will be finishing my 6 years of H1 on Feb 25 2010.I have my I140 approved in Nov 2008 with PD of April 2008.My employer will be applying for H1 extension in couple of weeks.I am with a consulting firm and currently on a long term project. My question Is it better to apply with Premium Processing(PP) or Normal Processing. Do I have any negative impact on the H1 apprival decision if I go for PP since I have almost 4 more months for my current H1 to expire. Also to make the application stronger, do I need to send client letter. Is USCIS looking for any other letter besides client letter. Please let me know. Thanks in advance. Posts:

Same here..May 2008 PD, I-140 Approved. 6th year completing in April 2010. Planning to apply for premium during Dec/Jan. Client letter is indeed required. If there is vendor between your client and your employer, it is required to provide a proof of contract client-vendor-your employer, which i think your employer or vendor can provide. After applying for extension, please share the list of documents you sent through for extension and result. thanks Posts:

Well, applying on PP well before the expiry of your h1 or using regular processing, does not matter. I would imagine, the h1 will be extended till the time the project is valid.
Good luck howdy_howdy // Posts:

I applied for extension premium processing based on approved 140. I filed with vendor letter, email from the client manager. Got approval in 1 week with 2 years + (3 months out of US period) extension. Posts:
